Dark Room using a Pin Hole Camera

In the dark room we have been using pin hole cameras to create photos. We have been doing that for two weeks. While in the dark room we have been putting photo paper in the pin hole camera, which is a thick card board cylinder with a lid on the top which stops all light getting on the photo paper until we have found something we would like to take a photo off, when we find what we want to take there is a hole the size of a pin on the cylinder with tape covering it so no light can get in till we want to take the photo. Once the photo paper is safely in the pin hole camera we leave the dark room and find something we want to take a photo off around the college. When we what we want to take the photo we remove the tape so the pin hole is exposed to the light. the exposer time depends on how light it is where you are taking the photo. Most of my exposer times have been for 15 seconds because it has been quite light because i have taken the photos outside. Once you have exposed the photo paper to light the image in front of you should be on the photo paper. After you have finished your exposer time you put the tape back over the hole so no more light will get on the paper. Next you go back to the dark room, once you are finally in the dark room you can remove the photo paper from your pin hole camera. You take your photo and put it through the chemicals in the dark room. First you put the photo paper in the developer for about two minutes, while in the developer your photo should start to appear on the paper. After two minutes you move the photo paper to the stop chemical which will stop the photo developing any further, you leave the photo paper in the stop for 30 seconds to 1 minute. You will the put your photo paper in the fix chemical, you leave it in here for a minimum of 3 minutes, then you post the photo paper through the slide where it will land in water outside of the darkroom. Now that you have put the photo in the water you can go round and look at the photo you have taken. You leave the photo in the water for 5 minutes minimum. Finally you put the photo paper through the dryer and you will have the photo you produced.

If you want to make more photos you repeat the same thing. You might have to change the exposer time depending on where you are sometimes it only has to be for 10 seconds if you are in a bright place but if you are in a dark place then you could have to do it for about 1 minute.
