Andreas Gursky

He is a German photographer, he is also a teacher at a German Art Academy. He is the most influential photographer of this time. His photos are dull and boring but epic, they are very expensive.

Gursky's photos are very large scale. The camera makes the people look every small and it makes them look unimportant or lost in the photo. He avoids the idea of the decisive moment as he doesn't agree with it. Gursky gas travelled the world with his photography, he likes to use linear composition to create his cleverly constructed collages. He has a unique vision, no one can understand his visions or his work because it is so unique.

I like his work because, it is unique and interesting, I normally find architecture photography boring but I like what he does to the images using photoshop to make the lines straight, also they way he merges images together to make something completely unique and unseen.

His work interests me because it is different, also trying to figure out how he creates his images on photoshop as he uses different images to make bigger images, when he has put these images through photoshop they look like they are meant to be like that not that he has edited them together.
